Warnings & Opt-Out

While Youkai Gakkou No Sensei Hajimemashita! is a comedy manga, it also contains some horror elements and can contain elements that might be upsetting to some. Potentially upsetting themes that might come up in relation to Douman, current and past, include:

•  heavy & highly visual scarring (on his face)
• murder
• mentions of historical events of wars, natural disasters and genocide
• body-horror
• gambling & brothels/host clubs (he loves those)*
• comedy violence
• mentions of fairy tale and myths level of violence
• sadistic tendencies

* the manga leaves it open whether they are actual brothels or more of the host club / geisha entertainers variety. Another thing worth mentioning with this case is that the 'sex workers' shown in the series are all seducer-type youkai who have simply switched from targeting their partners lives to targeting their wallets.
